The actress Halle Berry and her forthcoming movie ‘The Union ’co-star Mark Wahlberg while doing an interview talked about new skills they learned and listed off the physical ailment in the set of action movies
Halle Berry, 57, opened up on the series of injuries while shooting the action movies and shared her injury-suffering journey over the 30 years of her acting career.
She revealed that ‘I’ve been knocked out 3 times’ while promoting her and Mark Wahlberg’s forthcoming movie ‘The Union’ while speaking to Netflix.
She said I broke my arm, ribs twice (once two ribs and another time three ribs), tailbone, two toes, and middle finger. She listed her 10 broken bones during her forthcoming film ’The Union’ with her co-star Wahlberg
In the year 2003, she broke her right arm bone while shooting the film for several weeks. During the filming of John Wick: Chapter 3 in 2019, she endured 3 broken ribs. And she sustained two more ribs during the filming in 2021. Like Wise, the 2012 ‘Dark Tide film ’I Played a Free Diver’, was a horrible experience.
They both shared the training they had done to prepare for their respective roles in several movies.
In the interview, she talks about how she prepared for her role in the 2004 film Catwoman. She shares that her filmmaking journey has led her to master Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Taekwondo, Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu, and how to shoot.
After Wahlberg, 53, shares he learns crochet and dance ballet and the tango.
While she asked about his injuries, he smiled and said that he had suffered a torn meniscus, and a separated shoulder, joking that he has also had his bruised ego quite a few times.
